RESUME

Upon moving to the East End, I was dazzled by the art of Janet Jennings and John Todaro’s photography. My first watercolor class was with was Anne Seelbach (at the Art Barge in Amagansett); since then I haven’t stopped painting. Lois Bender (Bridge Gardens in Bridgehampton) and Beth Nehls (East End Arts in Riverhead) are my other watercolor teachers. I also took a pastel class with Dawn Miller (The Art Depot in Montauk), and was thrilled to widen my view of art with Roisin Bateman (John Jermain Library in Sag Harbor).

I have been selected for juried shows at East End Arts (Collage) in Riverhead and The White Room Gallery in Bridgehampton (Flow); shown my work at the Woodbine Gallery in Montauk; and participated in the Guild Hall and Ashawagh Members shows in East Hampton, the clothesline sale art shows at Guild Hall and the Jewish Center of the Hamptons in East Hampton, the John Jermain Patrons’ Show and the “725 Show” at The Whalers’ Museum in Sag Harbor. I also participated in the Peconic Land Trust Birdhouse Auction and showed my early watercolors at Bridge Gardens as part of Lois Bender’s watercolor class. On several occasions, I have participated in group shows at Romany Kramoris in Sag Harbor with both my watercolor paintings and photographic artworks. My work has also been shown at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Bridgehampton where a show is scheduled in January 2020.
